The Common Core State Standards: Statistics and Probability includes the domain “Making Inferences and Justifying Conclusions.” Within this domain, students are expected to:

  • Understand and evaluate random processes underlying statistical experiments
  • Make inferences and justify conclusions from sample surveys, experiments and observational studies

This Fathom® Dynamic Data webinar will explore the notion of making inferences by demonstrating how to use simulations to generate a model, so that we can compare actual results to that model. We will also explore sample surveys, randomized experiments, and observational studies.
