Scramble Attribute Values

Fathom Reference > Fathom Menus > Collection Menu > Scramble Attribute Values

Available when a collection is selected.

This command creates a new, scrambled collection. By default, the first attribute of the collection has been scrambled, that is, the values have been randomly moved around (all other attribute values are left in place).

Change the scrambled attribute in the pop-up menu in the scrambled collection’s inspector.

This command is useful for building a simulation to test for independence of two attributes.
