Import From File

Imports data from a text file. Choosing this command gives you a dialog box, showing the contents of your current folder.

1.	Navigate to the folder that holds the text file you want to import.

2.	Double-click the name of the file to import, or select the file and click Open.

Fathom creates a new collection that holds the data in the text file.

You should look at the data in a case table to see whether the import worked as planned. (With the collection selected, make a new case table.)

Fathom imports text files. If your data are in some other format, export the data as a tab-delimited text file before importing into Fathom.
