In a box plot, a box extends from the 25th to the 75th percentile and is cut by a line at the median. “Whiskers” extend out from each end of the box, either 1.5 times the interquartile range or to the end of the data, whichever comes first. Points beyond the whiskers are plotted individually as outliers.

Drop a numeric attribute on an axis and choose Box Plot from the graph’s pop-up menu.

Split a box plot by adding more numeric attributes to the same axis or by dropping a categorical attribute on the other axis.
