New Attribute

Fathom Reference > Fathom Menus > Table Menu > New Attribute

Shows a dialog box that asks you to type the new attribute’s name. If no attributes are selected when the command is chosen, the new attribute will appear at the end of the case table, on the far right. If an attribute is selected, the new attribute will be added just to the left of the selected attribute.

When no attributes are selected, this command has the same effect as clicking the <new> attribute prompt, typing a name, and pressing Enter or Return.
