Fathom Won’t Let Me Open/Import My File

Troubleshooting > Problems with Data > Fathom Won’t Let Me Open/Import My File

Fathom opens only Fathom or TinkerPlots documents. If your data are in another format, you need to copy/paste or export/import.

Because the Import File command works only on text files, you need to export your data from within its current program before trying to import.
