Case Selection in Summary Tables

If you select a cell in a summary table, all of the cases it represents become selected in other objects. Conversely, if all the cases represented by a cell are selected, the cell appears selected in the summary table.

All of the people who were married at the time of the 2000 U.S. census are selected.
