If you’ve imported any census microdata, you may have noticed that Census_Year is always treated as a categorical attribute. You can make any numeric attribute act the same way by assigning a category set to it (see Attributes with Category Sets).
| 1. | In the panel of the collection’s inspector, click Show Details. |
| 2. | Select an attribute and choose from the pop-up menu. |
If you don’t like the order in which the categories appear in graphs and summary tables, you can Reorder Categories in a Category Set by dragging categories in a bar chart, or by editing the category set in the panel of the inspector.
